“Chrono Trigger” Orchestrations
December 7, 2009Several years ago I decided that I would arrange several of my favourite tracks from the game Chrono Trigger into full orchestra pieces as an exercise in arrangement. For some reason or another, I never got around to sharing them but I think that now is as good a time as any. They will each have their own page in the downloads section, where I will preface each with a little blurb about their production and creation. Today I will post the first, which I call “The Ballad of Frog.”
All of the original compositions were written by Yasunori Mitsuda, I make no claim to them.

Complete awesomeness. I’ve been rockin out to these tracks for the last few days. They are really great quality. Would give my right leg for a title theme or 600AD (wind scene) track…. Keep up the good work!
thanks! wind scene was going to be a part of frog’s ballad, but it ended up cut. perhaps someday I’ll dig up the file and make it a stand-alone track. i agree, it is a wonderful song!
